You’re right, it’s tricky because black leaders have to also be stellar or they could mess up in various ways as well. I think it’s a matter of ensuring they have the support and resources they need, and that they have the right temperament. It’s sad that adequate funding is something POC non profit leaders struggle to come by, due to racism from those who have the money.

I love your final point though. If there was reparations and more equality, non profits would be unnecessary.
