Hey sis! Thank you for commenting your thoughts, it also resonates with me because I have the same frustrations, and I like that you’ve said it in a different way.

I think if we as black women can be honest with ourselves and each other about these complex feelings towards our hair, it’s the first step to even greater progress. It’s nobody else’s business, it’s between us and we need to figure it out.

Personally i feel like we should do away with weaves, wigs and relaxers completely, but no one of us can make that call or force it on each other. It would have to be a gradually unanimous decision, till the norm was our natural hair and everything else was the exception.
