Hey Jake, thanks for sharing your perspective, that’s definitely a huge chunk of the problem. The ultra rich who fund the non profits are older white people. Unless there’s some kind of significant redistribution of wealth, reparations etc, it’s unlikely that we can convince people like that to be less racist. I mean we can try, but, it would mean a collective sustained effort over time. I believe the alternative to this could be crowdfunding, or looking to wealthy black people to be the donors and funders instead. We really need to all think creatively on how we can tackle this problem.
